Having a lavish lifestyle, a beautiful house, an amazing car, and a happy family are things a lot of people aspire to have. However, in order to obtain those luxurious endeavors, there is a lot of hard labor needed to be put in, followed by grit and dedication. Lottery tickets can be bought or people manipulated, but earning it gives off the most complacent feeling. While everyone is unique and have their own outstanding qualities, being well educated can take someone a long way. Unlike yesteryear, it is a lot more problematic to thrive and prosper without a high school diploma, even though it is a great accomplishment. That there has been a lot of successful people that have made it without that extra work like, Mark Zuckerberg or Bill Gates. They are two of the richest men in America, and the world, and they did not get a college degree before obtaining their massive fortunes and successes. However, what people fail to mention is that both of those men were incredibly smart and are both college dropouts from arguably the most prestigious university in the world, Harvard University. They are both very talented individuals that did not just get lucky, they both worked very hard for their success and received some portion of extra education. Also, both of them are proud supporters of education, saying that all teens should attend college because it is the most secure way that the coming generations will succeed. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is putting a step forward to enhance graduation rates, it is one of their main goals to allow more American children to attend and succeed in college. In a New York Times article, on the topic of him dropping out, Gates said, “Don’t be like me”. Attending a secondary school is very important, it is so imperative that even the most successful people agree it is clearly the best path to do well in life, that can help not only the people around now but for generations to come.
