Cheating is best described as taking the easy way out of doing your work. The actual definition is "to use unfair or dishonest methods to gain an advantage " "Cheat." Merriam-Webster.com. Merriam-Webster, n.d. Web. 17 Jan. 2018. In this essay, I hope to show why cheating has been dangerous.

In educational places, cheating is qualified as being not interested or just plain out lazy. Subsequently, as time goes on and you further your education; cheating grows dramatically. During the elementary years, they might not have consequences as serious as in college courses. In college, they do not tolerate cheating at all. If you cheat, you can be given a zero as a final grade and or dropped from that class, whether it's online or an actual face-to-face class.

If you are caught cheating it can lead to a very dangerous blow to your academic record, showing that you cheated on a course can cause you not to be able to graduate, and can be removed from a school you worked hard to be accepted at. …show more content…

In that class, we had about thirty people and most of them were friends. Well, every week we were required to do a special project. The teacher gave us a list of different projects we could do. It was done by points and you were obliged to obtain a certain number of points. Our teacher said that she would carefully watch out for anyone who had just copied. Subsequently, one of my friends had to work the night before and she failed to remember the project. She messaged the other girl in that class and asked if she could have hers. The next day, our teacher handed them both papers that had zeros on them because she caught them cheating. Watching that happen to my friends makes me realize it's not worth the unsatisfactory grade or bad report on yourself
