Our beloved king Duncan’s body has been found dead at Macbeth’s castle! His majesty was murdered some time during the night and the body was discovered by Macduff. We have reports that it was an awful bloody mess Macduff walked into. At this point in time we believe the king’s guards were responsible for the murder, however, king Duncan’s sons fled the scene of the crime making them also prime suspects. The information as to what happened to the guards is classified although there is talk that Macbeth killed them. This is still an ongoing investigation, so anyone with any information is to contact the proper authorities immediately! We will dearly miss our kind, loving king Duncan! With the king's sudden death and the disappearance of his sons,
King Duncan, King of Scotland, is already dead. He was assassinated at the castle of Macbeth the Thane of Cawdor while he was sleeping. This assassination of King Duncan is somewhat interesting because there were some people suspected of killing him.
The event begins when the Scots executed the former Thane of Cawdor; it is believed that he betrayed his country for women at his local brothel and some booze. Like any noble king should, the king of Scotland,Duncan, set out to find a replacement for that poor man. He chose Macbeth, a fierce warrior and the Thane of Glamis, to become the replacement Thane only stating “My worthy Cawdor.” (1,4,54) While he was at it, the king also
Why Macbeth Decided to Kill King Duncan
William Shakespeare wrote Macbeth in the summer of 1606, it is set in
the location of Scotland. The theme is “Fair is Foul” and “Foul is
Fair” which means not everything is what it seems to be, (such as
Macbeth), who turned from a loyal servant into a brutal murderer. At
that time William Shakespeare’s audience “Elizabethans” believed the
world had good and evil powers. They believed that the evil powers of
witches controlled people’s lives.

Some believe it isn't that black and white, I've heard many whispers of people accusing Malcolm and Donalbain but... why would they want Duncan out of the picture? Donalbain made it extremely clear to me that he does not wish to ascend to the throne, and Malcolm loved his father far too much for him be overcome by greed. (Laughs) Beside if they were trying to over throw the King, that has obviously worked about as well as horseless carriage, I mean, Macbeth is our king now. Also, it’s hardly shocking they ran once they heard of their Father's death, they're smart enough to realize people would accuse them and I believe they liked having their heads attached to their bodies.
Who truly was responsible for King Duncan’s death in William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”? While yes we do know that Macbeth was the one who killed the king, had he not talked to the witches he would have never learned about the prophecies that would impact his life. On the other hand, it is said that these prophecies were destined to happen, so at some point in time fate “kicks in” at some point in the beginning of the story, I believe it happens when Duncan learns of the former thane’s treachery. After Macbeth learns of these prophecies he writes his wife, Lady Macbeth, telling her of the three sisters and what they told him. Ecstatic that she will become queen based off what Macbeth told her, she was the one to implant the idea of murder in
I do not believe that Macbeth would have killed the king if his wife was not there. She pushed him to do it because if he did not do it, then she was going to do it herself. Macbeth did not want to kill the king because he wanted fate to take its own course. He wanted the king to die of natural things or for someone else to kill him. If he would not have done it his own he would have had to wait for the king to die anyways from other causes. This way he became king faster but was not happy with the way it happened. Lady Macbeth was kind of pushy when it came to the king dying. Macbeth messed some of what happened up and she was furious with him and she told him she would do everything on her own he if would not man up and do it himself. I do
I’m sure you’ve heard of the deaths of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth, but fear not because I will be helping you solve this mystery. I will be gathering clues and a thorough investigation. Do not fear m’lord, I will have this case solved before you know it.
In scene two of act two, the murder of Duncan is committed. Duncan was stabbed in the throat by Macbeth, whom was covered in blood as he walked back to his chamber. With lady Macbeth anxiously awaiting his arrival, Macbeth does not seem to be thrilled about the crime he has committed; he was sad and something evil overcame him. This would be a good scene for me to take a picture of not only for to see the change in Macbeth, but to see what lady Macbeth would do to become royalty.
In act 1 scene 7, Shakespeare characterizes Lady Macbeth as controlling. After King Duncan of Scotland arrives at the Macbeth estate, Macbeth contemplates the benefits of killing Duncan versus the harms of doing so. Macbeth concludes that it would be unjust to kill Duncan because not only has Duncan given Macbeth praise for defeating the Thane of Cawdor, but Duncan is a very popular monarch. When Macbeth tells his wife “We will proceed no further in this business” (34), the response from Lady Macbeth is “Art thou afeard” (43). This calls in Macbeth’s bravery into question through the use of “afeard”. The word “afeard” denotes that he is scared and carries the implication that he is not brave enough to kill Duncan. Lady Macbeth’s taunt is extremely
