This situation can cause a person to be hopeless which will cause them to drop out. Another one can be because of tests like sat or act that will cause a person to fail causing them not to be able to register for college. 1b. SAT doesn’t predict college graduation. The participants that are going to join are the students from Dr. Steph psychology class. In this study, the target population is going to be the group of participants who are students and are at risk of failing the class. The participants will be chosen according to the tests they have taken and what they got in their examinations. The students who got less than 65% will involve as well as the students who did incredibly good like students who are around 80% and higher. I plan to address Dr. Steph’s concerns by helping those students who are at risk by providing them with extra classes like SI. In this coaching class,it will include going over the lessons, will be meeting four times a week for 1 hour at evening time and also another session will be offered in the morning an hour class. This is because those students who have morning classes can attend evening and the ones in the evening class can attend the morning class. These will make sure SI is there for everyone anytime. It will also give them practice tests, quizzes and even give them handouts on lessons, also make them re-write papers. If they check in with the writing center give them three extra points. Also they can go to the TA to have a one and one session for 30 min to clear out on things if they think it’s hard to understand. These will be helping them with difficulties they have in classes. These will help them understand the course better which will help them get better grades as well as prevent them …show more content…

These can have a tremendous impact because they will gain their confidence back and focus on the subject. ii.In each group, I will test about 125 students who will be participating. I would assign all the students random assignments because this makes sure that it's not biased which will give us an accurate outcome rather than an incorrect study outcome.
