Finding love in life could be very task difficult for some people. This is an example in Lisa Olstein's story called Where the use of cannon is impreactical. They talks about missing love and is thinking to do things with their lover. The person dreams of meeting their lover in the park and practicing ancient arts with them. The author uses structure to show the reader that the story is not very long with medium sized sentences and 1 stanza. She also shows that there are 21 sentences and punctuation with commas. The author's use of tone conveys the idea that the authors feels sad about the subject because the person is trying to find the love that he is missing and is searching everywhere for it and when he talks about the dark, dark woods, he is talking about how he feels without his love. Imagery is used to show that when the author said " Here we are in the dark, dark woods " it means that the perspective of the main character that it is very dark. The author's use of figurative language to show the reader that there is simile when she said " I will sleepwalk all night not girlish but zombie-like ". The author show symbolism to show an object that repersent an idea when the she said mislaid love becuase the person is looking for their love. All of these elemnts fuction together because they all help show that the person is trying to find their love, but is also making the person depressed becuase they can not find their love.
