It was not until recently with the rise of scientific reason and equal rights organizations did these teachings become questioned. The argument spurs from each person’s personal belief, and that is where things get complicated. To successfully teach creationism in public schools, you have to decided a definitive creationism story to base it on, and with Christianity, this is a problem. Protestant fundamentalists will interpret the Bible as literally as possible. While Catholics and Orthodox Jews will interpret it as they see fit.
To addition, I believe the world was already made because of mother nature. My faith that God created the land was kind of mysterious to me. My surrounding kind of influenced me to think otherwise because of I did not fully understand how was the world made and they knew more about the bible than I did. My friends and I have the same mindset about how the world was created. I also, believe the world was empty and God just bless it with life.
Defining religion is something very personal. We characterize it with words that we feel resonate with our own beliefs. It is hard to give an unbiased definition of religion. Some religions are about morality, while some are about a way of life. I define religion as a personal belief system in which things such as the earth’s creation and a higher power are given background and purpose.
Describe the main characteristics of a religious response to the human search for meaning. Since the beginning of time human beings have continuously searched for evidence and an explanation to answer the great questions of human experience, Is there a supreme being? Who am I? Why is there evil pain and suffering? And is there life after death?
The Power of One's Religious Drive Religion is not just a collaboration of spiritual ideas and writings from ancient books. Religion has become more than just that within our modern society. Some have went as far as to say that religion is the ultimate drive; that guides our human emotions, our actions, and even to some our very own existence. Though religion can be considered a broad topic, there are rooted ideas and concepts that almost all spiritual beliefs entail. Any person with some religious drive will ultimately face their own inner resistance at one point or another, and will be forced to overcome the profane world in which they live to understand the more spiritual and sacred life they choose to lead.
This paper will show how my own actions and decisions are based on my values regarding my religious viewpoint. My religious viewpoint is that I neither believe nor disbelieve in God, or any god for that matter, and because of this ambivalence, my values, and therefore how I act in a given situation, is based on my own morality developed from my social and life experiences rather than theological doctrine. To understand one’s religious viewpoint, one must first know how to accurately define religion. Because there are so many different religions, it is difficult to accurately define religion to encompass all of the differing viewpoints of those various religions. Some religions believe in the supreme God, some believe in other gods, some do not believe in God or any other god.
Why is it that religion creates so much turmoil? It is this question as well as others that create a hunger within people to seek out and ultimately discover the truths of the world, whatever that may be. Webster's Dictionary defines philosophy as, "the most basic beliefs, concepts, and attitudes of an individual or group (Merriam-Webster)." Again, however, this definition leaves a lot of thinking room.

When we analyze religions in an equivalent and historical function we want to understand the certain religions as clearly as possible and to understand the individuals within each religion (Molloy, 2013). Religions with a lot of history can be complex. Religions are always in a process of change which can be changed by governments, events, technology constantly changing, and the changing principles of the cultures in which they exist. Critical issues to the academic study of religion can come from someone's personal religious beliefs. It’s best to set your beliefs aside and not to be biased to avoid that
