The song I have chosen was Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. It was written for their 1975 album A Night at the Opera by Freddie Mercury. I have chosen this song for various reasons. The first was the lack of repetition compared to other songs. First it is an older song that many people have heard but never really understood. Second, the song title even means a man who lives an unconventional lifestyle in a freeform musical composition. The song’s narrator was a person who lived an unusual lifestyle that ultimately led to his demise. Upon the first hearing of the song, I noticed it did not have a chorus, but a few sets of words that were repeated occasionally throughout the song.
