As I have demonstrated, my personal experience as a financially disadvantaged student who won the struggle against the high costs of studying abroad has inspired me to help other low-income students pursue their dreams of international education. Service learning provides students with some fundamental aspects of life that can simply not be taught in the classroom. Service learning is a very beneficial tool in expanding on class room topics in the real world. There are numerous reasons why universities should incorporate service learning into their curriculum. One way that service learning is so beneficial to college curriculums is that it will cheapen the price of credit hours. Many universities have made the service learning free credits, which will appeal to students when they are making the decision to attend school.
The university has helped him discover what he wanted and gave the path that led him to his long-term goal through practices that were given by education and experiences. Being in college helps you explore your likes and dislikes before entering the work force. Being happy or doing something your good at is important in a job, and getting a college education gives you time to better know your capabilities and strengths. Being a college student gives you a push to maturing, and builds self confidence which, are both crucial steps to becoming an adult and figuring out your future. You will not regret going to school and learning, but some people regret not going to school because they missed out on chances. College is not just about the degree, but what you make from the college experience.
Lastly is simply because I love school. I love knowing more and more each day. College is not for everyone, but I will be successful by grasping the benefits, preparing for the problems, taking heed from experts, and working on strategies to be successful.
