Our lives will not totally change because of a good university or a great community college. Only we can change our lives' status; only we can choose what we want to do; only we can hold our lives on our hands. Studying in a famous or fancy university helps you have a good beginning of your career, but this is not the most important thing in your lives.

It should not be a surprise that many people believe that a college degree is a necessity in today’s world. We are taught to believe this at a young age. The average citizen will not question this statement due to how competitive the job market has become, yet does graduating college guarantee more success down the road? Peter Brooks is a scholar at Princeton University and publisher of an essay that questions the value of college. He obviously agrees that college can help securing a job for the future, but questions the humanities about the education.

As I have demonstrated, my personal experience as a financially disadvantaged student who won the struggle against the high costs of studying abroad has inspired me to help other low-income students pursue their dreams of international education. However only the well-rounded theory-to-practice-based College Student Personnel at WIU can help me develop into an ethical and effective student affairs professional capable of truly reforming the international education system.

Service learning provides students with some fundamental aspects of life that can simply not be taught in the classroom. Service learning is a very beneficial tool in expanding on class room topics in the real world. There are numerous reasons why universities should incorporate service learning into their curriculum. One way that service learning is so beneficial to college curriculums is that it will cheapen the price of credit hours. Many universities have made the service learning free credits, which will appeal to students when they are making the decision to attend school.

The university has helped him discover what he wanted and gave the path that led him to his long-term goal through practices that were given by education and experiences. His accomplishment in life made me realize the importance of attending university. Going through university is the best way to prepare students for the real life that they must face in the future. Nowadays, most employers prioritize hiring students who have university degrees. Having university degrees does not make students become a better person.

Students who do not adjust well to university may struggle academically and are less likely to engage in university life (Gibney, Moore, Murphy & O’Sullivan, 2010). This essay is about the factors that contribute to a successful transition to university. This is when a student is able to meet academic requirements and are committed to completing their course. They also engage in university life beyond academics. They are not overwhelmed but instead are healthy and able to manage the challenges that university presents (Chemers, Hu & Garcia, 2001).

College is another road on my path to achieving a successful future in my desired career as a maritime lawyer. Likewise, the university will not only prepare me for the work world through education, but also through experience. Attending classes here on campus will enhance my to communication skills because I am a very quiet person and tend not to socialize much; however, college is much different from high school and in order to adjust to my college life, I have to communicate. Therefore, attending college will encourage me to come out of my quiet zone and to communicate with others and even get to know new people and make new friends. Also, because group work is often given in different courses, I will learn the skills of collaboration with others.

We live the truth every day, working to keep the ideal of democratic education alive. The best reason to care for college, who goes,and what happens to them when they get there, is not what it does for society, but what it can do for individuals.like the elder guy said, you thought me how to enjoy life. What he meant is college helped him read, help him crave for works of art, heightened his alertness to color from melody. He was grateful for such an education given to him. As a person regardless of what kind of origin we have, we have the right to pursue happiness.

Being in college helps you explore your likes and dislikes before entering the work force. Being happy or doing something your good at is important in a job, and getting a college education gives you time to better know your capabilities and strengths. Being a college student gives you a push to maturing, and builds self confidence which, are both crucial steps to becoming an adult and figuring out your future. You will not regret going to school and learning, but some people regret not going to school because they missed out on chances. College is not just about the degree, but what you make from the college experience.

Lastly is simply because I love school. I love knowing more and more each day. College is not for everyone, but I will be successful by grasping the benefits, preparing for the problems, taking heed from experts, and working on strategies to be successful. Of course I know there will be road blocks that I would be facing that may try to hold me back from my goal.
