What I Can Offer Your University
Shakespeare once said, "We know what we are, but know not what we may be." While I do not know what my future holds or how I will spend the bulk of my adult life, I know that only education will give me the opportunity to detect my interests and enrich my soul. I believe the University will provide me with the perfect atmosphere for bettering my life and my creative abilities.
One of the most important factors that I look for in a college is a low student-to-teacher ratio and an accessible faculty willing to work with students. I believe faculty accessibility plays a key role in helping to inspire students to be passionate about their fields of study and in preventing them from growing discouraged from the workload or from difficult problems. At Fontbonne Hall Academy in Brooklyn, New York, I enjoyed friendly teachers and individualized attention, and I believe this attention contributed to making my grades as high as they are. My brother, Charles Ciccotto currently attends University, and his experiences with his classes and profe...

Clearly, HBCUs provide several benefits to African-American students. Not only have they helped to combat the cycle of discrimination that minority students experienced before the civil rights initiatives of the 1960s, but they strive to provide a warm, supportive and inclusive academic environment that addresses African-American college students as a whole person. Additionally, HBCUs are increasing their efforts to ensure that higher education is accessible, affordable and achievable for individuals with unique socioeconomic challenges. Despite obstacles, historically Black institutions will continue to play a vital and significant role in the fabric of higher education.

One of the proudest accomplishments of my life was earning my high school diploma, despite all the hard work that led me where I am today was well worth it. Many people would expect me to say I am coming to college to better myself as a person or to continue my education. The truth is I want to change a life in my community, make my parents proud of their daughter and start a tradition in my family.
Every one of the nutrients needed in her diet Emma is deficient in has a specific function.
In Betty Smith’s A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women the reader is privy to the impact motherly nurturing has on a young girl. There is about a four-year age difference between Josephine (Jo) March and Francine (Francie) Nolan. The age difference allows a close comparison of the emotional growth that takes place when a mother is present in the life of her daughter. Yet the emotional ties to the mother for each protagonist fits into a different cultural time. The families are both living in an era of poverty, yet the impact of their destitute world is felt in different manners. The story of the March family begins during the era of the Civil War whereas the Nolan family are poverty stricken second generation Irish immigrants
I believe that the author’s claim of the blogpost, “Mockingjay Discussion 15: The Hanging Tree,” that the song, “The Hanging Tree,” is actually a rebel anthem, is correct. I think that the theory is interesting and makes sense with the theme of the book. The author also makes a lot of good connections with the Hanging Tree and main events of the story. This is why, I deduce, that the Hanging Tree is the resistance’s anthem and is important to the book
My primary reason for going to college is to have a higher chance for a more fulfilling future. I am getting my degree to be able to have a career in something I’m truly interested in, so I can have a job I won’t get tired of attending every day. Working minimum wage with long hours just to pay the rent isn’t the kind of life I look forward too. Just the thought of being successful by doing something I love is enough motivation to continue going to school and pursuing my degree; not many people get to say that they’ve accomplished that. Getting this degree will not only prepare me for my future job, but I will be qualified to get one as soon as I graduate.
Resistance of a Wire Introduction Resistance is the opposition a material offers to the flow of electricity. The electrical resistance of an object is not only by what material it's made of, but also by its shape. A very thin copper wire has more resistance than a thick copper wire of the same length. A very long copper wire has more resistance than a short one of the same thickness.

I have high hopes for college, but I believe that it will meet all of my expectations and more. I come from a somewhat small town, so I can't wait to meet people from all walks of life and learn more about my world. I plan to make memories that I'll look back on fondly, like my parents do of their college years. I'm going to experience everything I can. I believe that doing so will make me more knowledgeable and
College is going to start my own life on a foot that is ready to leap because my career is going to take off right out of the gate. All-in-all I’m going to college for three main reasons. My immediate family is a reason because I want them to be proud of me for doing something right for once. My future family is also one because it’s a big part of my life that I want to be happy and always feel comfortable. Finally for my personal financial well-being, so I can be able to treat myself to all the luxuries I want for myself. Going back to line one, all of these things are a part of my future. Isn’t that what college is for after all, to prepare people for their own futures and what they bring? A university is not my future, it’s only the beginning of it.
I never really thought about where my life was going. I always believed life took me where I wanted to go, I never thought that I was the one who took myself were I wanted to go. Once I entered high school I changed the way I thought. This is why I chose to go to college. I believe that college will give me the keys to unlock the doors of life. This way I can choose for myself where I go instead of someone choosing for me.
