The beliefs of W.E.B DuBois are what I choose to follow. Demanding immediate equality- civil rights for all. Society, not just blacks, should fight for their rights. Less than a hundred years ago women set up strikes and boycotts to fight for their right to vote. America is only corrupt because Americans choose to follow the corrupt government they deliberately pay money to support. However, not all Americans are destined to fight and demand for what they want immediately. As DuBois states, “all Blacks should get educated and join the ranks of the government”. One should choose to either fight for their rights or directly working for the government they want to change. Furthering the education of one will open wide verities of jobs they can
