For years people have been taught to not be afraid of vultures. Although it is true that one or three vultures can't harm you. It's a different story when it's a committee of vultures vs. your neighborhood. But don't worry, when a committee roosts in your neighborhood and destroys it, you can use some proven solutions to stop them. In order to find the solution you have to figure out the problem first. First, They kill the trees in the neighborhood which effects them because they like the trees. Secondly, their droppings destroy the paint on the cars so the people have to go pay to get that fixed. Finally, The vultures peck at the shingles and tires so people can't drive and they have to get their roofs fixed. First, If you place wire on the roof it will keep the vultures from landing and doing damage. Second, You can take a gardening hose and spray the trees all over with water to keep the committee from roosting. The bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) is a bird of prey and is most commonly found in North America. Its habitat is anywhere near large areas of water surrounded by many tall trees. They feed mainly on fish, which they grab from the water with their talons. Due to human impact, particularly from the use of guns, the bald eagle has faced extinction.
Ethel Waters overcame a very tough childhood to become one of the most well known African American entertainers of her time. The setting of the book takes place in Gloucester, Massachusetts. And in the grand banks of the atlantic ocean and on the boat of the Andrea Gail. I put a picture of the town of Gloucester and their harbor which represents their home and their last time on land before the crew died. The Andrea Gail was the only boat that got caught in one of the roughest storms in history and was not found until years later. The map of the three grand banks shows the spots where the Sword fishermen would go to catch fish and spend their time out at sea.The Crow’s Nest bar is the second home of the crew and would be forever empty without the presence of the crew on the Andrea Gail even when the bar is full it’s still empty.
Going into prison Malcolm X had no ability to read and write. He grew up on the streets as a hustler before getting arrested for larceny and breaking and entering. While in prison, X taught himself to read and write by copying the dictionary front to back. X then went on to be a political rights leader who fought a corrupt government with black power. X sees the theft in the government system and how it is unfair to most minority communities. Seeing this theft in the system gives him the idea to do the same against the government. He uses the knowledge that belongs to the government and uses them to fuel his own causes. To start his battle on government corruption he writes his Autobiography and the essay “Learning to Read” is a section of it. “The vast amount of birds flocking above towns and outlying districts, causing destruction and damage to even attacking individuals.” This is a quote from the short story “The Birds,” by Daphne du Maurier. That quote is also representing the plot, which remains the same with both the story and movie, by Alfred Hitchcock. “The Birds” is presented by a short story written by author Daphne du Maurier, and a movie directed and filmed by Alfred Hitchcock. They both have the conflict of numerous birds attacking their town. Although the conflict is the same, there are several, if not more pieces that are different between the short story and the film. Minding the differences between the two, I think the short story gives off a better experience to the audience that the movie, since it is in more of an isolated setting than the movie, and has more of an apocalyptic surrounding.

Not only did the Yardbirds, as a whole, change musical history but also the individual members created an enormous impact on other musicians of their time period, and the way future generations view music in general.

One particularly warm evening last summer, I walked into my backyard to relax and enjoy some fresh air. Instead, I was greeted by the loud shriek of a chicken. We had an uninvited guest in our vegetable garden. Unfortunately, such chicken invasions are a common occurrence in many areas of Stockton, California. Throughout the United States, municipalities small and large are debating whether or not they should enact residential livestock ordinances, specifically in regards to poultry. Considering that they are often a public nuisance and pose a health risk, local officials should consider restricting the private ownership of chickens in heavily populated urban areas.

The Vulture and the Little Girl, a Pulitzer Prize for Feature Photography winner by Kevin Carter, is a photograph of a starving girl that fainted on her way to a feeding center in Sudan with a vulture in the background. The image depicted the brutality of poverty in underdeveloped countries through showing the weakness of the little girl, which contrasted with the strength of the nearby vulture. This image became extremely popular, partly due to its controversy, but mostly due to the strong message it carries.
