Non citizens do not have the rights to vote or become part of office because they do not have the rights with not being part of the states or country. Some examples citizens can participate in are Participating in political discussions, reading the newspapers/keeping up with the news and the latest information. Going to protest/boycotts just being involved with your community. Voting and political participation is important because it shows that you want to be involved as a citizen.
