One Saturday morning in the middle of July just after the summer ends when we finally decided to go to a trip, somewhere far, outside Manila, after planning for so long just to break from the usual dates at the park, at the cinema, museum and live bands around Metro Manila. We chose to go to Tagaytay, I never been there before it will be the first time going there at that time. Tagaytay is one of the places most visited by the Manileño's, for a quick weekend escape from the busy city. it is popular because of its proximity from Manila. On that morning I meet with my girlfriend at SM Bacoor, that is the nearest access to where the buses that go to Tagaytay. But before we leave we have some breakfast first at a restaurant near. Before going back to Manila we decided to eat dinner first, so we look for a good place. There were a couple of restaurants at the side of the road like Starbucks and Gerry's Grill. But what we want is something unfamiliar a place only in Tagaytay, a place to remember by. It was 4 pm in the afternoon, Tagaytay was a little foggy. At the back of the chain of restaurants, there is a place at the side of a cliff. The place was small but comfortable, there were only a few people dining, the place was lit by little colorful bulb just a little bigger compared to Christmas lights. The ambiance is quiet, simple and with an authentic feel. It was just odd I can't remember the place name, maybe I wasn't paying much attention about it. We sat at a table for two near the fence, it has an overlooking and clear view of Taal Lake. It was surrounded by few greyish cirrus cloud on the horizon but still visible with a hint of rays from the sunset. The lake was picturesque, peaceful and does not look distant.
