Violence’s If we desire a society of peace, then we cannot achieve such in a society violence’s. On June 27th villagers gather in the square to participate in a lottery but later during the lottery they find out that the prize is a stoning. In animal farm there is a rebellion with the farmers and animals and then another war breaks out later in the book causing death. In both of the stories violence is developed and you learn you need peace for a peaceful society. At first, violence is restricted to animal on human. But as the pigs increasingly corrupt, animal on animal violence becomes more common. ,"And even the miserable lives we lead are not allowed to reach their natural span. There was the proper swearing-in of Mr. Summers by the postmaster, as the official of the lottery; at one time, some people remembered, there had been a recital of some sort, performed by the official of the lottery, a perfunctory. tuneless chant that had been rattled off duly each year; some people believed that the official of the lottery used to stand just so when he said or sang it, others believed that he was supposed to walk among the people, but years and years ago this part of the ritual had been allowed to lapse.
