The Role of Transformational Leadership to Leaders and Followers
Leadership can be defined as a significant quality of a person, a dynamic aspect for an organization or a key foundation for an effective team towards achieving success. In these ways, leadership inhabits its space in different fields and demonstrates to be essential in several facets. The role of a leader is imperative in a management field in terms of taking the organization towards success or failure, as Drucker (1985) defines "Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things".

This result in a difficult situation to train people in this approach, as most of the people will find complicated to adopt this quality. Since transformational leadership is a combination of several leadership models, it is more complicated to understand the concept and teach. In a transformational leadership, the leader is considered as an unrealistic star and the leader include in the business process along with his followers. This creates a problem in viewing the leadership in a quality standpoint. The third provided by Avolio (1999) is that, the transformational leadership is discriminatory and autocratic. This extra brings to another censor, the lack of abstract clearness. The transformational leadership covers an inclusive range of actions like motivation, inspiration, building trust and furthermore, this creates misunderstanding in terms of idea when compared to other leadership model, as Bryman (1992) pointed out that transformational and charismatic leadership are often measured to be equal with admiration to their abilities. The fourth is about magnitudes of transformational leadership as not obviously stated. The choices made are concerned only with the leader, success and failure occurs in an equal prospect. While transformational leadership treats effective team work, the leader inspires his follower and offers productive response. The important feature is that, response is expected from the follower too thus creating a two way communication. In the current world, transformational leadership is highly documented and trained by executives in modern organization. The present business scenario is influenced by insecurity, global commotion and organizational volatility, for which transformational leadership would be a better solution to deal these factors
