Imagine having to worry every day to come home and see if your house is still there. Or stressing everyday if a gang would break in your house and kill all of your family and steal all of your belongings. This is what Tony life was surrounded by each and every day. Tony grew up in a war-torn Ugandan village. Volunteers describe it as, “A story about what you can gain without losing everything.” Tony and his family were heavily affected by the LRA and violence in the area that they lived in. When Invisible Children met Tony's mother she tested positive for HIV while living in a displacement camp and on her deathbed. Soon after she unfortunately, she did end up passing away.
