Scout is still young, she doesn't understand that there’s racism in her community. I think Atticus won’t win the Tom Robinson case because it’s an impossible due to the systemic racism and prejudice throughout Maycomb, Alabama. I think to kill a mockingbird is a great book, It has been my favorite book ever since. I thought the writing was well done and loved the characterization and thematic qualities. Exploring complex issues through the eyes of a child made it all the more impressive. I think the pace in the novel is great, i liked how the author spent so much time describing the characters and the setting, we got to know the characters more.
