In the Book Macbeth by William Shakespeare, Macbeth constantly becomes isolated from everyone because of his evil intentions of becoming King. Ever since Macbeth has become King, Macbeth has started to do whatever it takes to accomplish his feat. He thoroughly throughout the story demonstrates that people do not matter in his life, like his best friend Banquo. Another person he isolated himself from is his own wife Lady Macbeth and eventually he slowly starts to isolate from himself as well. At the starting of the story, Macbeth and future victim Banquo bump into three odd looking witches which tell Macbeth three things. The three witches tell Macbeth that he will become King of Cawdor, become in Glamis, and he shall become King hereafter. After this exciting news his evil intentioned wife, Lady Macbeth, convinces the brave warrior who has just been promoted, Macbeth, to murder the powerful King Duncan. As Macbeth becomes successful in Murdering the King, Macbeth starts to become more careless regards to his best friend, Banquo. At the end of the book, Macbeth causes himself to be more in pain and if fed up of his actions. He considers: “life but a walking shadow”(VI,vi,27). Macbeth just wants to give up on life and he signifies life as a play that is told by someone meaningless. At the end of the play Macbeth is killed by Macduff and Macbeth words do come true since he did not care about life since everyone he had loved at one point had left him in a big way and he had no one to support him, which lead to the isolation of
