Racism and segregation in the American society. Donald trump was elected to be the next president of the United States of America on November 8th this year. Since then, there has been lots of discussions regarding racism and segregation on social media. I recently watched a movie named “The help”. An aspiring author named Skeeter Phelan decides to write a book featuring African American maids’ stories and opinions regarding the white families they work for. Giving the African Americans a chance to voice their opinions was a tremendous humanitarian act back then. Today, in 2016, everyone formally has the same right.
