“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the securing of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” Those are the words of the seconds amendment to the Constitution of the United States. These words were written by the man who laid the foundation of our government today. As a constitutional right our government has no right to take away our right to concealed carry. The government may mean good by doing this, but will this really help, or only create more problems?

Before Hitler rose to power in Germany, the government required a registration of all citizens who owned and carried guns. When Hitler and the Nazi party rose to power in 1933 he used that registration list to identify, disarm, and attack political enemies and jews. In the constitution it states, “That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it.” As unarmed citizens how would we be able to fight back against a corrupted government or police brutality?
