Animal testing is very cruel experiments conducted on animals to see if a product would be safe to use on humans. These animals are held in cages and are kept there until the scientists figure out which kind of experiment they want to put the animal under. It should seem that this is considered animal abuse but sense the government does it then it is okay. However, it is not okay that innocent animals are held captive and injected among other things, only to see if a product is safe or not and the results can often be fatal. Each year animals are brought to animal testing labs where scientists preform experiments on them to see if a product is safe for a human or not. These animals patiently await the next procedure to be done on them because they have no other choice. These experiments can cause multiple side effects on animals that can be both painful and agonizing. These experiments can also last days which means that the innocent animals have to live in pain up until a scientist thinks that the experiment has gone on long enough. The scientists will begin an experiment by placing the shampoo on a specific animal and then watch how the animal reacts to the shampoo and what it does to its skin. Some shampoos and other household items can be fatal to the animal and be the cause of death. However according to peta.org, the European Union and India have banned any companies that use animal texting for their products. This means that companies that use animal testing can no longer sell in these regions and will miss out on money from these regions.
