(The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas)Evaluation After reading this article, I have a lot of thoughts and feelings. I don't know how to comment on whether the people lived in Omelas is moral. Because may the prosperity and development of a country is a must have some people go to hard work and pay for a better future. As an example, in today's society, we may also see only the prosperity of a city or even country, but we don't have a deep thinking behind the prosperity of life there are always some people keep paying even. I think it might be worth it if it were really for the prosperity of the whole city. A lot of people are giving without expecting anything in return, may in Omelas castle of the children, too, he has been serving the city all this, but he still doesn’t know when himself will out of the castle of the prison, when can see the beautiful scenery outside the castle. This story makes me remind of the movie The Truman Show. They live in houses with red walls and green tiles, harmonious coexistence, childlessness, no government, no army, no war and no evil, no judges and no police. But that's not true. Actually, they live in the illusion, a kind of circumstance that many of them, both in Omelas and Truman show, they didn't dare to break up, and just follow the trend or rules, act like a happy man. Sometimes they may prick the conscience, but they never break up the illusion, save the poor child or Truman. So, I think from a child's point of view, these people living in Omelas are unethical because their happy life is always based on the suffering of others. None of them had the courage to break the rules or save the child. I think as long as they are brave enough to try and make a breakthrough, people in Omelas will definitely find a way to solve the problem of children and the city at the same
