“All the world is made of faith, trust and pixie dust” (J.M Barrie Peter Pan). For the first four years of my life, I was a fairy. Fluttering around with my wings and my magic wand, causing havoc everywhere I went. I was unstoppable and certainly a force to be reckoned with. Life was as simple as it gets. Maybe it was the magic only a little girl has. I watched the world with sparkling eyes, arms wide open. The world was a beautiful place and we get so little time so live life to the fullest. Of course life wasn’t all sparkles and rainbows, but its getting through the good times and the bad that counts.
Sure the world could be a scary place -“Mom? Where did you go?” I muttered. I was in the snack aisle and my mom was nowhere to be seen. I walked around peering into the aisles nearby. I was like a little tiger cub in the jungle all alone with nothing but the wind to ease my loneliness.Thinking back on that I probably looked pretty awkward- a child wandering all alone in such a big store. Fear was starting to set in but I remained adamant. I heard a frightened voice three aisles down....
