Today we are united for the disgrace that happened to my best friend who I liked to call “piggy” not because of his physical but because when we were kids we would always play pretend that we were animals. He never liked other people to call him from that nickname because he knew that they meant it by his overweight problem. “Piggy! Piggy! ‘Ralph! -please! I said I didn’t want- Piggy! Piggy!” Piggy was someone special to me he was like the brother I never had. He was very smart and I’m guessing that’s what many kids hated about him that the teachers would always compliment him on his intelligence while they would always fail, we would always have a friendly competition to get the higher grades and whoever got the highest grade would buy candy or ice-cream. …show more content…

The two other boys looked at me with shock in their eyes and cleared the path for me to walk. As I walked up the boy he seemed to be afraid. I recall asking him what he is afraid of and he told me he was afraid of me because he thinks I’ll punch him in the stomach like I did with the other boy. I started to laugh, and he looked at me confused I told him I just did that because I wanted the cars back and because I wanted to play with him. He looked confused then his confused face turned into a joyful one. I asked him what his name was, and he said he was Piggy. Now it was me who was confused then it was him who laughed, he then told me that he was pretending to be a piggy and swing himself on the swing like if he were to be flying proving that pigs can fly. There I knew he was weird and unlike the other kids and that made me smile because I was pretty sure we would be friends forever and it was true but unfortunately, he died before we could accomplish all the plans we had. We were going to graduate from college and go see the northern lights, but he left me, and we can no longer go
