The Legal Form of Injustice and Cruelty
The justice system of the United States carries different methods of punishment depending on the crime that has been committed. The most heinous crimes could receive the life-sentence or capital punishment depending in which State this crime has been committed. Capital punishment is the most severe punishment that the justice system could allow. Capital punishment also known as the death penalty is the execution of a convicted felon, according to the crime that he has committed, which mostly are capital crimes or federal crimes. This sentence is often recommended by the jury (composed usually of twelve members) at the sentence-trial that follows the trial of the offenders. But is executing an offender the right punishment? By using the death penalty as a punishment, are we not committing a crime or mimicking exactly the same behavior as the offender? The capital punishment should be considered as a violation of the offender’s right to life. Even if someone’s behavior or action is considered to be dangerous and atrocious, they should still be entitled to the right of living. This is the wrong method used by the law and judicial system to punish a criminal. Capital punishment is irreversible when it is carried out, therefore people that have been wrongfully convicted and executed cannot be excused by the justice system. No matter the reasons, the crimes committed cannot possibly justify taking the life of someone. There are other measures, other punishments that could be taken against a criminal that does not involve capital punishment. The execution of a convicted offender should not be an acceptable form of justice; therefore it should not be performed in any circumstances at all.

...hey need to live so they could feel the weight of their action. Capital punishment is not a good way to deal with criminal because there is nothing after death. No feeling, no remorse, no pain.
For many reasons, capital punishment should be abolished and found immoral and cruel way to deal with convicted felons in a country that prone the freedom of speech like USA. The freedom of living should also be included in the law and the justice system of the nation, no matter how despicable is the crime committed. Life is too precious, and no one should have the right to find another human being eligible to be sacrificed for the pleasure of the government and justice system. We are all fighting for the right to live, it is time for the government and the judicial system to stop committing crimes and murdering some convicted criminals by using justice as a pretext.
