The events of the Crusades are very important today for many reasons. The first reason it’s still important is that history repeats itself. Since history repeats itself, we now know what not to do, so by avoiding those things it can keep us from another time of Crusades. Another reason the Crusades are important is that there is still conflict between Muslims and Christians. If more people can learn about the Crusades and the reasons it started, society might be able to move on and make amends.
