Barry Bonds once said, “Everyone in society should be a role model, not only for their own self-respect, but for respect from others.” This quote means that everyone in this world should be a role model, not just for themselves but for the respect from others who look up to them. I agree with this quote, every human being should be a role model for others so they can look for a good example in life to lead in their future. My inspirational figure is my mother. My mother has always been there for me in my life. Ever since I can remember my mother has always been there by my side supporting all of my dreams and goals. When I get older I hope I can become the person she is for me. I look up to my mother for her beauty, success, and what she has done for me in life. The first thing I admire about my mother is her beauty. No matter what my mother wears if it’s casual or formal my mother is always beautiful. My mom always looks clean and ready for anything that comes her way. My mother has a big beautiful white smile that makes me happy when she is laughing and smiling. My mom has big voluminous hair that looks …show more content…
Ever since I was a kid my mother has done whatever she could to help me succeed in life. Whenever I needed something or help in school my mother would always help me as much as she could. After my grandparents died in 2009 I became very depressed, also due to religious reasons I didn’t attend school for a while which made me fall back in school. But my mother stayed up late to help me pass all of my exams and talked to my teachers asking for an extension so I could get caught up with my subjects. Many parents would have left their child too study by themselves, but not my mom. I am very fortunate to have a thoughtful parent to push me and help me through difficult times. I know without my mom I would never been able to experience everything I have
If someone is your role model you look up to him or her for support
When I wake up in the morning and see my mother, I find every characteristic of a perfect woman in her. She is a strong willed, confident, and attractive woman. She has wavy, black hair and dark brown eyes. Her face has a slightly rectangular oval, which makes her look both gentle and strong. She has high, arching eyebrows and a slightly turned up nose. Her chin is smooth and luminous. She is not tall, about five feet, but she is slim and graceful.

For example what I was really struggling with reading in forth grade she got me help by making do eye exercises at Pacific University. It was very difficult for me and my family because we had to do the eye exercises three times a day with at least one other person to help me do them properly. And my mom was the one that would take me to all of my appointments every time they had to do more tests on me. Another thing that she would help me with was my sports, every time I have a softball game out in Tillamook or some place far away she is happy to take me to my games after a long day of work. Every day I was with her she would take me to my practices and
Throughout my life my mom has always been selfless and generous- especially when it came to her children and grandchildren… ever putting her self last! SHE WAS MY EVERYTHING… Unlike my sister, I was the one that gave my parents their grey hair… It took me longer than most to mature, and the truth is- that’s putting it mildly. Yet through all the ups and downs, and all the times I would end up disappointing her expectations of me, one thing NEVER
On dissection. you can see that those of whom identified his or her role model as an athlete, showed better health-related decisions than those whom identified. a peer or an entertainer as their role model. No one is flawless, but athletes can inspire young people and most are model citizens that we look up to. Unfortunately, in recent years, some athletes have been in the news.
Nobody is a role model figure but each and everyone of us has characteristics that people
My mother, Kari Jenson, is one of the most important people in my life. She gave birth to me, helped me learn to walk and so many other things that I find amazing. I cannot begin to fathom how much patience she had to have to deal with me all the time as a child. I’m sure she still has to have patience to deal with me now, but I imagine it was a lot more back then. She has molded me into the person I am today and I wouldn’t want it to be any different. She has always been supportive of everything I have tried from basketball to skateboarding and from football to paintball. Even though there are some things that I do she doesn’t like she usu...
Also, she has always been a good friend to me and I will never stop thanking my mother for what she represents in my life. Moreover, I am glad that my mother is my role model because without her in that place I don’t know for sure if the person I would have followed would be as good as she is in fulfilling this task. A good role model is what everyone should have
Many people find someone in his/her life to look up to, a role model. There are many different kinds of role models; they can be singers, public speakers, a parent, or even a friend. Role models also are not determined by certain criteria. A role model can be a role model just because they are a leader or have a great talent. Oprah Winfrey is considered a role model to many individuals because of her tough childhood, wonderful charity work, her schools, and the true relationships with her fans. Oprah stands out among many people on her ability to feel others’ pain and help those people get through their troubling times.
My grandma is my role model because she has accomplished so much and been through so much in her life. She is a very beautiful person, but very stubborn in what she believes and wants. Its almost impossible to get her to change her mind. She is always telling me how proud she is of me and has pretty high expectations of me. My mom is also a role model for me because she had a rough childhood and after she started a family she went back to college she is still attending college now, she gives me motivation to never give up and reminds my of how good my life is
...mportant person in my life and I know that she will be always there for me with help, her love, and her care. She’s a wonderful person, she admires the beauty of life, and as a result she is always in a good mood. Now, like my mother, I’m a positive thinker, and I am a creative person who believes life is what you create it to be. I also know if I have to make any big decisions in my life, I can always ask my mom for advice because she has the wisdom and experience. I also know that she will tell me the truth even if it is not something that I want to hear, but she will tell me with kindness and without any judgment. My mother is my role model because she does so much for me; she gives me everything she has just to make my life easier. I love my mother and I am so thankful that she is the way she is. My mother is always there for me and I would do anything for her.
My mother was not only worry and take care of me, she always by my side when I need her help. I felt sad, my mother always by my side to talk and to console. While I am glad, my mother is always been there to share and listen to me. When I failed to do something, my mother who was gave me advices. She has always supported me in all my choices. She tried to make me strong people with independent minds. I looks to her in hopes that someday I will be as happy, as strong and as well as
While in school, Mom didn’t have it to easy. Not only did she raise a daughter and take care of a husband, she had to deal with numerous setbacks. These included such things as my father suffering a heart attack and going on to have a triple by-pass, she herself went through an emergency surgery, which sat her a semester behind, and her father also suffered a heart attack. Mom not only dealt with these setbacks but she had the everyday task of things like cooking dinner, cleaning the house and raising a family. I don’t know how she managed it all, but somehow she did.
...; I like to believe that I've accepted my self-induced isolation from her with grace, but I must admit that I do hold the hope of bridging the gap between my mother and I. I also hold the hope of amending myself for all the times I've knowingly and purposefully hurt her. Although she is not a god, as I originally assumed, she is a good woman. She has raised me, sheltered me, and loved me for over seventeen years without asking for more than casual chores in return. I believe that the greatest compliment I could ever give my mother is to grow up to be exactly what she wants me to be. I want to make her happy. My gift to her will be my success in life, so that when she's old and gray, and she's knitting me a hideous sweater in her creaky rocking chair, she can sigh, and mumble to herself, "Wow, it was worth it."
