Once upon a time there lived a Hobbit named Bilbo Baggins. He lived in a perfectly round door like a porthole. Hobbits had thick hair on their feet, and loved food, and had comfort and security. One day, Bilbo was outside and an Old man named Gandalf appears at his front door. Gandalf is a wizard who created fireworks and displayed them. Meanwhile then, Gandalf asks Bilbo if he is interested on going on an adventure. Bilbo refuses and invites Gandalf inside for a cup of tea. Chapter 2 The next morning, Bilbo wakes up a little late in the morning. He sees nobody, but signs of a large breakfast. They were able to take the right road to the right pass. After leaving the last Homely house, they kept climbing and climbing. In the far west, everything looked blue and faint. Bilbo was shivering and then it starting to get bitter cold and the wind came shrill among the rocks. Later, a violent thunderstorm broke suddenly, and forced the group to seek shelter. So they sent Fili and Kili to find shelter, and then they found a dry cave. So then they moved and camped there. In the middle of the night, Bilbo couldn't sleep and dreamed there was a crack, so then his dream came true. There was a huge crack and goblins came and started tying everyone and then carrying them in a chamber where the great goblin sits. Later then Gandalf came in and blew out the torches and sparks went onto the goblins. He was in a dark room with nobody around. He couldn't see, feel and hear anything just the stone of the floor. Bilbo was getting up slowly with the dagger in his hand and torched the wall of the tunnel. Later then, his hand came across a ring and put it into his pocket. Then he sat on the floor trying to remember what happened. After some time, he felt his pipe and took it out. The pipe wasn't broken and had some tobacco in it. He was looking for his matches but couldn’t find it. At the moment he felt crushed. Then he found a little dagger with an elvish blade that the goblins hadn't noticed. He didn’t know what direction to go, go back, go forward, go sideways, so he got up and started walking along the walls. After all the walking and walking, he came across an underground stream. He discovered a small, slimy creature named Gollum. Then Gollum proposed a riddle game. If Gollum wins, he gets to eat Bilbo, If Bilbo wins, Gollum will show him how to get out the Goblin’s cave. Bilbo was saved by pure luck and won. The ring that Bilbo found was gone, its power was able to make the wearer invisible. Bilbo happens to slip on the ring and then Gollum runs past him.
