The Grinch is an individual, who is bitter and lives in a cave on the snowy Mount Crumpits, which is 10,000 feet tall and north of Whoville town. The Grinch age is unknown, however looks to be about in his mid-40s and is unemployed. Thus, results in him spending a lot of time alone in his cave with his dog, Max, as his social companion. At any rate, the Grinch faced many issues when he was younger, causing his current behavior, where he was abandoned as a child, and made fun of because of his look and horrendous appearance at school and as a way to cope he decided to run away. As an illustration, to anti-social personality disorder the statistical facts, prevalence rates, and genetics all come together to help determine and form this disorder. 1% to 3.6% of all adults in the United States population are reported to have anti-social personality disorder. In relation to gender, regarding demographics and statistical trends men are likely to be diagnosed with this disorder rather than women, meaning three percent of adult males and one percent of adult females. Furthermore, people with this disorder were more than likely abused as a child, whether it may have been physically, emotionally, or mentally. Anti-social personality disorder also seems to be higher in people with an alcohol and drug abuse problems. The cause of anti-social personality disorder is unknown, however genetic and environmental factors do influence the disorder. In the case of the Grinch, it is hard to determine if there are any genetical factor of this disorder in his past because his parent is unknown, as so he was abandoned as a child. Since, genetical factors are undeterminable, it is that his environmental factors, the bullying that he received when he was younger, that cause the Grinch to develop anti-social personality
