The Great Gatsby Many characters in The Great Gatsby show how love can affect a person’s behavior or plans for the future. He pull out quotation characters said in the book and give his own reactions to each and every quotation. Quotations from The Great Gatsby and from a “Plot Summary of The great Gatsby.” The first quotation I pulled from the book was “Tom Bunchman compelled me from the room as though he were moving a checker to another square” (Fitzgerald 11). The response to this quotation is that he was saying that Tom tricked them into moving out of the room as he wanted without any problems. The second quotation pulled out the book was “The butler came back and murmured something close to Tom’s ear.” Which he was saying that the butler came and whispered something quietly and a murmured voice into Tom’s ear? The third quotation pulled out of the book was “The crimson room bloomed with light”(). He was recalling to the room as being crimson and it bloomed with a light, the room was bright and was a loud blooming color. The fourth quotation I pulled out of the book was “When we came in she held us silent for a moment with a lifted hand”().
