The search for the "fountain of youth" or the "elixir of life" is something that we have read about in many myths and fiction stories throughout the year. They are also things real life explorers looked for dating back centuries, the most famous of which is Ponce de Leon whose search of this elusive fountain took him to Florida in the late 1400 's and early 1500 's. However, He was not the first looking for this fountain that is said to give you the power of endless youth, the desire to stay young is a desire that may date back to the beginning of mankind itself. The scientist that is quickly gaining the most fame pertaining to Bacillus F Dr. Anatoli Brouchkov, head of the Geocryology Department at Moscow State University. The doctor was recently thrown into the spotlight after he admitted to doing something very unexpected, to say the least. 'After successful experiments on mice and fruit flies, I thought it would be interesting to try the inactivated bacterial culture on myself, ' he told The Siberian Times. Since then (it has been 2 years) he says he has more energy and has not gotten sick.

Many will say Dr. Brouchkov is a madman for being his own guinea pig, but this man is officially a Rock Star in my book. There are three reason (that we will dive into shortly) that pushes the doctor from a madman and into rock star status.
1.The results shown in the experiment on the mice were extraordinary

3.The people living in the region in Serbia it was found had unusual
