Next, victims completely disappear on trying a new thing. This means those people can focus to do their job, assignment and studying. Also, victim avoids of trust people around them, that can lead they think on negative things to people around them, even their best friends. Consequently, “Negative emotions are defined as self-conscious emotions that occur when individuals evaluate themselves negatively and/or when they feel that others are passing negative judgment on them.”(Céleste B and Lee R, p.690). Therefore, self-conscious is an unfavorable for people who normally are confident doing a thing to become a weak person.
People who feel they are constantly being criticized may also criticize everything and everyone around them. They might choose to go their own way because they rule and it’s their way or the highway. They don’t realize when they have done wrong when they crash and burn, yet they still blame others because they think they have no other options. The longer the harsh criticism continues, the more people lose sight of anything positive in their lives. People enslaved to their negative thoughts are selfish, very self-cons... ... middle of paper ... ...his life.
Sufferers develop low self-esteem from thinking that they are different from not being able to communicate properly and thinking that other people are thinking of them in a humiliating and negative way. Often people with social anxiety believe that they are worse than others, and are not loved. Depression soon arrives after thinking negative thoughts for such a long time that it over takes them and consumes their minds. Depression can lead to the person having suicidal thoughts which can eventually lead them to taking their own life. Because of the severity of social anxiety, it should be treated as a mental illness.
