The Constitution created a government of limited and expressed powers. The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. It was written to make good government and laws, and to provide freedom to all, thus creating a healthy nations. The Articles of the Constitution express the roles and duties each part of the government has. It also separates power between the federal and state governments.The founding fathers knew that as time changes, so do the needs of society and the government needs to address this change. Article 5 states, “The Constitution can be changed. The second amendment is the right to bear arms. People have the right to have a weapon to protect themselves.” 1791. Some of the weapons they used in earlier times like in 1791, were trench shotguns and flintlock pistols.The weapons being used now are assault weapons and bushmaster. There newer weapons cause greater harm to people. In the past, people have used guns for self-defense, but now people are being irresponsible, and innocent lives are being lost. The intent of this quote was to allow citizens to carry guns for self-defense and for the defense of their country. But in today’s society, people are using guns to shoot others and they are being thoughtless and cruel. Therefore a lot of innocent people are dying. In 1934 the first laws were being made about gun control owners of the gun had to be recorded in a national registry.
