Unfaithful Bride Now Maribell fearfully clutched her dress, trying the calm her voilent shaking. No one was going to help her. There was no prison in the village, instead, she had spent the last 7 months locked in her fathers basement. However, she knew it wasn 't his fault, he had given her a chance to escape, which she had foolishly refused. Listening to the crowd in front of her, she felt a deep sorrow over come her. People she had once called family were shouting for the push. Friends were moving their hads violently from their chest outwards as if they were too be the ones too send her over the edge. She had gone about her business, when 9:00 had come around she went to the guest room and fell asleep. In the morning she awoke to Ryan 's soft knock on the door and, awoke to see him come in with pancakes and flowers. This is how it always went the morning after, some "meaningful" apology and a bouquet of forget-me-not 's. They were both quiet while she ate her pancakes, and when she was done she wiped her face on a napkin and looked him square in the face. "You promised." she said plainly "I didn 't promise. I said I would love only you. I don 't love her." He said sheepishly, she knew that marriage promised could be renforced by the law. If he had promised to be faithful, she would have had the option for marital banishment. He was a lawer though, an expert at turn of phrase. "How long did it last before you started up with her again?" "2 weeks." He said. Maribell only scoffed and looked harder at him, her gaze seemed to make him cower. "Why?" "You know why. As a husband with a baren wife, I have the right to seek a birthing seragate." By the time he got home that night she was already asleep and their bedroom door was locked, she wasn 't about to sleep in the guest room a second night.
