Marry Oilver wrote a poem about a personal experience. Her mother and her have to make decision on whether or not to sell the tree to pay off the mortgage. She explain the relationship between the tree and daughter. The author grabs the reader's attention by explaining this personal experience and write a lyric poetry full with imagery and figurative language.
