The Olympics is the highest level competition on sport, and some people look forward to create better records in these big parties. In 2009, Rio defeated other competitors in order to receive the right of hosting 2016 Summer Olympic games, and it is the first Olympic games in Brazil and also the first in South America (Dale, 2016). Even though some people thought the Olympic games could create benefits for the country, it brought some problems to Rio on economy and society. First of all, in order to host the big event, Rio has sacrificed its economy. Although Rio acquired the right to prepare its first Olympics, Rio has to strive more than any hosting countries before (Nelson, 2016). When the situations in Europe and America were gradually getting better, the world’s sixth biggest country - Brazil was enlarging its advantage. So, many of economists are evaluating the benefits and the costs. For this event of 2016 Olympics in Rio, one fact is not appropriate is that the Brazilian government should not took money from people’s health and public infrastructures because these things are the most basic and related to people’s happiness. A powerful country is not only depends on whether or not hosting the Olympics, but also the level of civils of this country. On the other hand, the Olympic games are the world’s games for all of us, and it is also the way human prove to themselves that how fast, and how strong they could be. Even though every country should try to win a chance to host the Olympics, but in fact, all of this are going to depend on whether they have the ability to host it because it is not fair to take money from those civilian.
