Have you ever wanted to know about what it is like in Tennessee? Then, this is the place to find it. This paper also has the history of some of the famous battles that happened there.

Have you ever seen the land of Tennessee? The terrain reaches from the Appalachian Mountains to the Mississippi River and the area reaches to 41,220 miles. The highest point is at Clingmans Dome at 6,643 feet. above sea level, and the lowest point is the Mississippi River at 182 feet. The neighboring states are Mississippi, Georgia, Alabama, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Missouri. The three stars on Tennessee’s flag stand for the three parts of Tennessee- presumably to give each part their fair respect. Nashville, the capitol , is located in Middle Tennessee. West Tennessee has low, flat land that is covered in plains. The Tennessee River flows through East Tennessee into Alabama. And there is mild climate throughout the year and Tennessee gets 50 inches. of rain and snow in a year. Mud Island is in the middle of the Mississippi River across from Memphis and Tennessee Aquarium is the world’s largest freshwater aquarium.

The history of Tennessee has lots of interesting information. Indians were living in the area by 1500. And the first Europeans that were interested in Tennessee were British and French fur traders. Some traders were supplied with fur from Indians. Two famous frontiersmen were head of government these frontiersmen were John Sevier and James Robertson. Tennessee was first part of North Carolina after the French gave up in the French and Indian War, in 1763. Tennessee became the sixteenth state, in 1796. These are some of the amazing things about Tennessee. Tennessee has had a long history and many battles, the land of Tennessee is different in different parts of the state with many places to learn about and see, and the businesses have changed over the years as other things have also changed.
