Part of our daily conversation consist technology and how our life involved with that, and as Slack and Wise mentioned there are usually little agreement about what technology is and what is the role of it. The reason for the controversy can be the lack of information about the technology (Slack & Wise, 2015, p. 107-108). When people think about technology it is usually into two different perspective: mechanistic perspective on causality and nonmechanistic perspective on causality (Slack & Wise, 2015, p117). “when someone thinks about or understands how technical change happens from a simple casual perspective, they assume that effect are inherent in the technology and that precise effects are inevitable” that mean that effect are natural quality …show more content…

Later they explained their concern about our intention in contact with technology, the way we approach it and perception of the act and network. I believe in the larger and more progressive scale these concerns will not be an issue, because technology will have a better ability to make any decision then human beings. Even what they suggest of thinking and analyzing the cultural field will be available through artificial intelligence which is an advance technology.
Slack and Wise conclude that we have to pay close attention to politics and economies because influence of these on technology effects in the way which causes a new problems of technology and culture (Slack & Wise, 2015, p 162). The examples they used here such as surveillance cameras, ATM machines or others are part of nowadays life due to the economic and political system. As Slack and Wise claim “identity and technology are intimately related” and “we approach the issue of identity and technology not as the conjoining or articulation of two different artifacts, but as an emerging assemblage” (Slack & Wise, 2015, p 198). At this point the way we get into assemblage is the way we shape all the related outcomes of that. They also claim about digital identity that “identity is an expression of an assemblage, in this case as assemblage of bodies, devices, data, and ideologies of individual self-reliance, and efficiency” (Slack & Wise, 2015, p 208).
