Throughout Macbeth the supernatural appears through various ways that completely change the life of all of the pain characters as well as over the country of Scotland.There are numerous occasions where supernatural apparitions come into the play of Macbeth that have startling results from the malicious Macbeth, who seems to be one of the only characters in macbeth to who actually sees these supernatural apparitions. Other characters of macbeth have been present while the apparitions have tourchered Macbeth with their existence. In Macbeth the apparitions primarily appeared in the fourth act in the first scene where the witches were busy throwing all sorts of horrifically gruesome ingredients into a caldron full of some nasty boiling solution. …show more content…

The second apparition then calls out to Macbeth informing him that he should be bloody, bold, resolute because he no longer had to worry for himself because no amount of the power of man nor anyone who was born by a woman could cause Macbeth any harm. And upon hearing this Macbeth is elated for if no one who is born by a woman can hurt him nor any power of man could cause him harm then he does not have to worry about being hurt or killed by anyone! Thus causing Macbeth to probably in the future be careless and probably make a decision that will end badly for macbeth. For example, later on in the play Macbeth might be confronting Macduff, and Macduff might challenge Macbeth to a one on one duel and because Macbeth believes that he can not be harmed by a Macduff. He could accept the duel and then end up dying by Macduff because of the blind trust in a bloody baby that was floating around his head saying that he was pretty much invincible. This apparitions foretelling of the future is probably has the most powerful influence over Macbeth than all of the other apparitions that come to either haunt, warn. and encourage, Macbeth because to him it means that until a hill and a forest come against Macbeth that not just no harm will come to Macbeth. But also that until a couple of natural formations come against Macbeth that he will not be defeated either, or at least that is how Macbeth interpreted what he was told by the third apparition. Though little does he know it, what the third apparition was really saying was not that until a couple of landforms called the Great Birnam Wood and the high Dunsinane Hill attack Macbeth was the time when Macbeth would be defeated. But that Macbeth was going to be defeated when all the people who live in the area of the Great Birnam Wood through the high Dunsinane Hill rise up and fight against him is the time when he will finally be defeated, and his reign truly come to an end. So Macbeth is going to receive a very nasty surprize in the near future when he realizes that he is going to have a far shorter reign than
