The book that I read is Summer Of Fear, by Lois Duncan, the book was published in 1976. I liked the story of this book because it is interesting and a lot of mysteries happen to the main character. The author did a really good job of making the story exciting. I loved trying to figure out what was happening to Rachel and why these things were happening. Summer of Fear is about a fifteen year old girl named Rachel Bryant, who experiences some strange things during her summer holidays. Rachel is a brave girl, and has a lot of friends, but this summer holidays is the day where Rachel cannot forget. Luckily the old man knows everything she says, and the old man help her and tell her that her cousin is a witch. She try to tell all of it to her parents but no one believe her. I like how Rachel never give up about searching all this strange things and why only happen to her. So Rachel keeps searching for clues, the next night, she finds a letter on Julia's bed and she reads it. It says that she was invited to a party at her friend’s house, but she did not come. On early morning Rachel decide to ask her cousin Julia what this things happen to her since she came to her home. Julia did tell everything to Rachel, that her real name is Sarah and the real Julia is the one who died in a car accident. Sarah is a housekeeper. Sarah is none other than a young lady, who is into witchcraft, and Sarah caused everything that's gone wrong in the neighborhood. Sarah tells Rachel that she is in love in her father and she has a plan to kill Rachel’s mother on her way home to Santa Fe. Rachel starts to rush and go to her boyfriend house so that he can drive her to her mom’s work. She cannot find it so they go to Santa Fe, when Rachel find her mom she tells everything
