In my time at the high school, I think that I would benefit from being a part of student council for the following reasons. First, I believe that being a part of student council is a great way for me to get involved with something great. I think that it will improve my leadership skills, and provide me with many tools to help me be successful. Secondly, student council seems like an enjoyable experience that will help me get to know others with as similar mindset. Whether it be working with others to accomplish a task, or just simply getting to know the person across from me, I thinks its a great way for me to get to know other like minded individuals. Finally, being a part of student council is a looked highly upon by colleges and and universities.
