Paul Jobs was raised in Germantown, Wisconsin and became a Coast Guard in World War II. He made a bet with his friends that he would be able to find a wife within two weeks. He met Clara Hagopian, who was born in New Jersey after her parents fled the Turks in Armenia, and the couple was engaged within ten days. Clara realized that she could not have children, so the married couple looked at adoption (Issacson 28-29). Joanna Schieble was a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin. She lived within a strict household where her father was extremely strict about dating. When Joanna met Abdulfattah Jandali, a Muslim teaching assistant from Syria, her father threatened to disown her. She went with Abdulfattah to Syria and two months later when they returned, found out she was pregnant. Keeping the baby and abortion were not options the couple considered. When Joanna found out the adoptive couple were Paul and Clara Jobs, she made them promise that they would keep a college fund for the baby. Steve Jobs was born on February 24th, 1955. After some reluctance, Joanna signed the adoption papers and gave Steve Jobs to his new parents (Issacson 30-31).
Steve Jobs knew from a young age that he was adopted. Many of his close friends believe that the awareness that he was given up as a baby made him into the independent person he grew up to be (Issacson 32). Jobs has said that he knows people say that the reason why he has worked so hard was because he wanted his biological parents to want him back, but Steve said that is not true. (Issacson 33).
Steve’s father is the person that introduced Steve to technology. Paul worked on cars often, and although Steve did not like to get his hands dirty, he loved doing whatever he could to help h...

Steve Jobs- Stanford Commencement Speech It has been nine years since Steve Jobs gave his famous Stanford Commencement speech but the message of “Stay hungry, stay foolish” is still being talked about today. During the speech he uses a conversational style of speaking to tell three stories on love, life, discovery and death. Jobs used his personal experiences to connect with the audience, sharing several anecdotes from his past to convince the crowd that failure and rejection were not always bad things. By describing his life events, he made himself more relatable to the audience and was successful at delivering his message.
Steve Jobs was born on Feburary 24, 1995 in Green Bay Wisconsin. His biological mother put him up for adaptation, because she could not care for him and give him a good child hood. She requested that her son to be placed with a well-educated family. When Steve Jobs was growing up he Didn’t have any friends so he wandered to neighbors garages looking to learn more about electronics because a lot of them were engineers. Steve jobs liked fiddling with electronics so much that he spent his time after school at the packyard electronics company learning more in depth about how to make electronic devices. Steve jobs had a hard time focusing in class. Until his fourth grade teacher found a way to get him to focus in class it was by bribing him to do his work. That worked so well that the school recommended him to skip fifth grade and go straight to junior high. Steve jobs told his parents he did not like the school that he was going to, and wanted to change schools. Steve Jobs and his parents moved to silicon valley where there was a premiere school for electronics and technology. He found a friend when he was in high school that was a geek just like him, that friend was Stephen Woznick. Stephen Woznic...

For an example, Steve’s genius was nearly developed thanks to the influence that his foster parent has provided to him, such as when Steve’s Jobs foster parent named Paul Jobs had given him an opportunity to learn Craftsmanship within their very own workshop inside of their home garage. Steve stated, “my dad spent a lot of time with me…teaching me how to build things, how to take things apart, put things back together” (page 9), this shows that Steve could have possibly admired and learned a lot from his foster father and could may have saw past them not being connected by blood but instead by their memories that they have held together for each other. This piece of information is crucial to the resolution of Steve jobs future and why he may have kept the last name of Jobs from his foster parents rather than his actual birth mother and fathers name if the
On October 5, 2011 Steve Jobs passed away in his home in Palo Alto California; Jobs had been battling pancreatic cancer since 2003. Steve brought so much different technological advancement that most people use everyday without knowing who created them. Everything that Jobs created, he did because he understood what his customers wanted, and where the market was going. Steve Jobs believed in all of his products and innovations he sold to people, and had faith in the people he worked with was what really shaped Apple. After leaving the company and then returning, Steve Jobs’ influence made Apple one of the top computer companies in the world.
Steve Jobs was a genius of the modern age, he gave us tools to change our lives and the way we communicate. Steven Paul Jobs was born February 24, 1955 and was adopted by Paul and Ciara Jobs a few weeks after his birth. The family moved to San Francisco to a town called Mountain View, California where Steve grew up and found his passion for computer electronics. He quickly teamed up with with his neighbor Steve Wozniak (Woz) and realized they both shared a interest in computers which developed into a partnership. Starting from scratch, Jobs and Woz began putting together very basic computer mother boards that could be connected to a screen in their garage. Steve and Woz created Apple Computers which has grown to the largest and most successful computer company in the world and surpassing Bill Gates and Windows.
With his unique love for technology, Steve Jobs changed the world with his revolutionary innovations, developments, and extremely successful companies. He made communication faster, people’s lives easier, and invented many famous products. Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California (Ed. Sheila Dow and Jaime E. Noce). Throughout his high school career, Jobs loved electronics. He was constantly wiring the house with speakers or building frequency counters with his Hewlett-Packard Explorers Club, a group of students who met weekly to learn about what HP was working on. One day the club members took a trip to see firsthand at what HP was developing at the time. That was the day Jobs saw his very first desktop computer (Walter Isaacson 16-17).
Steve Jobs spent his childhood in Silicon Valley. Steve Jobs was born in 1955, late February. He was born in California and Clara and Paul Jobs adopted him. He grew up with one sister, Patty. He was the type of child who liked to stick to himself. He only did competitive swimming, and no team sports. He was interested in electronics and gadgets, because he would spend a lot of time in his neighbor's garage, who worked at Hewlett Packard Company. Jobs also enrolled in the Hewlett-Packard Explorer Club. There he saw engineers demonstrate new products, and he saw his first computer at the age of twelve. He was very impressed, and knew right away that he wanted to work with
Instead of asking customers what features they thought they might like to have in a mobile phone, Steve Jobs was the market researcher for Apple. His innovative thought process and realizing he was creating a product that people would want, allowed him to ask himself every morning what he wanted in the current device in design (Gobble, 2012). Arriving at the Apple office he would pass along his idea and the engineers were then expected to incorporate the idea into the device. Instead of creating brand new products, Jobs and Apple excelled at taking half conceived ideas and rebuilding them into products that are done properly and in a way the consumer wants (Gobble,
