On the evening of March 18th 2018 in Sacramento, California, a 22 year-old unarmed African American man Stephon Clark, who was a loving father of two sons was shot and killed in his own backyard by two Sacramento Police officers, one black and one white. Stephon Clark was unarmed when he was shot 20 times when he rushed away from the officers into his backyard, although all he had in his hand was a cell phone police assumed it as a weapon but obviously it was just a “mistake” that was made by them.
