When it comes to African American civil rights, I think Martin Luther King Jr and Malcolm X come to mind. African Americans have fought move than any race for what they have now. Even though some may think they still have battles to fight, I feel like thanks to these to activist they have come a long way. While both King and Malcolm X were human right activist, King was not violent when it came to protesting while Malcolm would do the necessary to achieve equality. Martin Luther King Jr was born on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. Both of his parents were very involved in their church. Thanks to this King became a Baptist Minister. King grew up in a middle class family and was well educated. He played a major role in ending the segregation of African Americans in the south and other nations. Also, famous for his “I Have A Dream” speech. The people really liked King, they thought he was very loyal and would think about himself first rather than others. Malcolm Little, also known as Malcolm X was born on May 16, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was an American Muslin Minister who was very involved in human rights, and equality. King wanted all the races to come together and for the violence to be put to an end. Malcolm X had a different view about the march.
