Kayden continued on with going through the pantry for something to eat; her goal was to find something small and not a giant meal. The pantry was pretty scarce, which may be the reason why her mom went out to buy some more food. A long sigh left her lips, leaving her in the middle of the kitchen with no kind of food. She gave up on looking for anything and decided to grab the last bottled water and head back into her room. The idea of Michael coming to her house for dinner was quite a head spinner. A relationship with him wouldn't be the best idea that she has ever add, maybe if she was able to pull out this audacious attitude and take a risk, but she couldn't do that. They were both a defect in society that just fucked up every single thing that they got hold of. Finally, once she was done with her thoughts, she locked her phone and went straight to her closet, where she would decide on her outfit for the night. In her closet, there wasn't anything formal to wear. The majority of her clothes were sweatshirts, long sleeved shirts and a handful of t-shirts. Her outfit choice was a loose, dark grey t shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. It was another typical outfit, but she didn't feel as if she needed to dress all up for this occasion. She stripped herself down until she was just in a bra and some random underwear she had found in the depths of her dresser. It wasn't like an impatient wait, but more of something like him being way too eager to see what she has to say in return. At this point of talking to her, he already felt like he was getting attached to her gradually. The thing that made him anxious was the fact that he had to make a good first impression, or just a flawless impression period. This dinner tonight was basically deciding in faith in some weird metaphor or simile. The dinner and just meeting her family was to decide if her mother approved of who he was and how he had acted. That's why he had to stay on his toes and not seem like a fucked up kid who cries himself to sleep every single night and enjoys popping pills in hopes to not wake up the next day or ever. All of that was quite depressing to say, but it was the truth. It was the truth that he didn't actual dread the day he would finally snap and end his life right here, and it was the truth that he hated every mental and emotional thing about himself.
