In the passage Hester is trying to get William to let his children go to the circus. And when she asked him he didn’t say anything he just continued to read. Then she starts talking about how hard they work, and that the circus never hurt anyone. And William respects Hester and was rather proud. As the story starts to take of there is a little bit of a situation. As Hester starts to explain her experience at the circus. She is explaining the animals and all the sudden William corrects her. And Hester drawed conclusion that William had been to the circus. This is the rising action, the part that starts to get to a good part, it also gets the story going. Well then William states “ I reckon shouldn’t ‘a goon. But boys will do foolish things…”
