Satire Of Deforestation

Deforestation: an act of pure terrorism towards the forests of the Earth, the most evil and brutal punishment to wildlife imaginable. Every year, thousands of trees in multiple forests are chopped down either for the wood humans can make resources for or to make room for more humans to grow as they continue to rise in population. Many problems can result from deforestation: loss of habitat to animals that rely on the forest trees to survive, resulting in endangerment or extinction as the animals must forcefully move to another place to thrive in numbers while avoiding the invading humans, and the effects of potential global warming can occur due to the carbon dioxide released by the machinery used to bulldoze the trees down, and only a few …show more content…

I am tired of humanity treating forests with little care, it hurts me that they do not care about the fate of the animals that live in danger of what they do every day. I do not understand why humans do not care to share the world with the life around them. Then, I had a great idea, why not create a few solutions the humans who care about the animals can do to protect them from deforestation and habitat loss. I have created five solutions to protect the animals endangered from deforestation, two realistic and three satirical. The three satirical solutions are to tape off the forests, deactivate all machinery, and transfer animals onto a secluded location free from loggers, and my two realistic ideas to combat deforestation are to educate the public and to reduce human expansion. I believe at least one of these ideas will have some type of impact when it comes to the protection of the habitat for the …show more content…

There, the endangered animals will be able to flourish in numbers without being driven to evacuate their home. Despite there being multiple pros to help this idea, there are two major cons that may result from it. The first major con is that there is currently no location on the planet that can be adaptable for every species on the planet. Each animal has their own way of how they adapt to the conditions of their environment, and moving them to a place where their abilities will serve little to no purpose will not only be a waste, but it may send them in risk. For example, if a lizard that camouflages with brown wood is moved to a different area with different colored wood, the lizard can be in danger as it will be a clearer target for predators since it no longer blends in with the trees. The second con that may result from moving species to another area may result with tampering to the ecology of the transferred area, the species not native to the area are known as invasive species. For example, kudzu, a plant native to Southeastern Asia, was transferred to the Southeastern United States in the 1990s to grow due to the Chinese overusing the weed to make medical herbs. However, since kudzu
