O, what tragedy hath occurred because of this wretched feud. These star crossed lovers took their own lives and now their once bright future is no longer. Much blood has been spilled with many dead due to this fighting. Romeo and Juliet are dead and there is one thing truly to blame here; the Feud, which includes the prince, Tybalt, their parents, and society ignoring the issues but taking sides.

In the end and after the many deaths, the prince and the parents realize that through the actions of the Feud has this tragedy occurred. Romeo and Juliet realized this much sooner. “My only love sprung from my only hate (Shakespeare Act I Scene V).” She did not even know Romeo but hated him none the less, because of this feud. The prince, through losing his own kinsmen now understands “... winking at your discords too, have I lost a brace of kinsmen. All are punished (Shakespeare Act V Scene III).” The prince knows that all are to blame for the deaths and all are punished in some way.

Oh malicious Tybalt. He is naturally an aggressive person and the feud gave him people to aim it towards. This is how Mercutio’s blood was spilled. By the fuel of the feud thrown on the fire we call Tybalt. Maybe in an alternate universe Tybalt and Mercutio could be friends. Capulet was an abusive father. He called her many things and screamed and hit her. He, also, was forcing marriage upon her and when she wished to wait, though we know she was already married to Romeo and just wanted to be with him, he lashed out with physical and emotional abuse. “Out, you green-sickness carrion!
