Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare are one of the most popular tragedy love plays of all time. From the very start until the end, they have been ill-fated and doomed, sadly in their case the play doesn’t end well. The basis of the play is Romeo is diligent in catching the eye of his new found love for Juliet. but the problem is that they are from different houses who hate each other, and Juliet is supposed to marry Count Paris whom her father has picked out for her. Juliet does not want to Marry Paris because she has already been married to Romeo, and Juliet tries to make up a big plan to run away with Romeo. They are so young that they can't make Mature decisions, and their feelings are all over the place. Romeo is in love with Rosaline at the start of the play then, at first sight, falls in love with Juliet. Juliet can't trust Romeo after he kills her taunting cousin Tybalt. Romeo and Juliet are so young that they barely or don't know what Love really is. When professing his undying love, Romeo says “I have night's cloak to hide me from their eyes, and but thou love me, let them find me here. My life was better ended by their hate than death prorogued, wanting of thy love” (2.2.74-77). That quote is Romeo saying that he would rather die with Juliet then run off and be safe but away from his love, that's stupid. From what a reader can tell, Romeo only loves Juliet because of her Beauty. Juliet is so in love with Romeo only because Romeo is so obsessed and act so nice and favoring to Juliet when he's around her and she can't help but fall in love with him even if he only loves her for looks.
