When Juliet’s father, Lord Capulet, finds out about Juliet’s refusal to marry the dashing Paris, he goes completely insane. Throwing out names at his daughter, hitting her left and right. Juliet is speechless while this is happening, once in awhile you’ll hear muffled cries. She stops crying when she hears her father mention her leaving and never coming back. Leaving means being disowned and never once being checked up on by her family. After the way the treated her though? Her own mother won’t even speak to her. The Nurse? The Nurse is taking the easy way out. She tells Juliet to marry Paris. Quietly, Juliet climbs down her balcony, careful not to make a sound. She then approaches the wall. Yes, the same wall Romeo said he flew over with the help of love. Juliet whispers, “Love don’t fail me now.” and struggles to climb the wall. When she’s finally over the wall, she’s panting as she says, “I flew over with love my butt.” She has no time to catch her breath though, she’s on a time limit. She starts making her way over to Friar Lawrence to tell him about what she’s doing. On the way over, she breaks a heel and she’s thinking, “Why did I decide to wear heels tonight?! And an even better question, how did I manage to get over that wall in heels? Talk about skills.” She decides to ditch the heels in a nearby bush, they weren’t that cute anyway. She finally arrives at the Friar’s, shoeless and sweaty. She walks inside and looks around for the Friar. She spots him and rushes over to him. “Juliet, what are you doing here so late? And what happened to your shoes?”The Friar asks her. “Well long story short, I told my dad I didn’t want to marry Paris and he freaked and started yelling and stuff.
