Have you ever felt the rushing wind on your face while spiraling through the air? Well if so, then you have probably been on a roller coaster. This October was the first time that I have been on a roller coaster. Traveling with a group of friends, went to the Haunt Night at Worlds of Fun. It was quite an thrilling experience. There were zombies and goblins prowling around, waiting to give you a scare. When we were on our way I was nervous, but excited. As we all trudged up, Keeshawn, Paige, Makenna, Cooper, Katie, and I went to the first ride, The Patriot. While we take the walk up to the Patriot I started to feel anxious, Paige, Keeshawn and I are waiting for our turn. Once that was over, we walked into the sinister house. There wasn’t much room in the house so Paige and I walked side by side while Makenna was behind us. Throughout the beginning of the petrifying house every corner there was someone trying to scare me. The room we were in started to get dark and that got me frightened. Nothing bad happened, but in the room upcoming had those dazzling flashing lights. The lights were blinding and gave me a headache. When we were at this part of the haunted house, it was a struggle to walk through because of the harsh lights in my eyes. Fortunate for us that section wasn’t too long. Following the lights part the lasting haunted house’s time was coming to an end. The house wasn’t extremely scary subsequent of the lights part. Finally it came to an end and the journey in a haunted house was over. Later, when we all met up, there were stories to tell of those events that occurred just before. We all shared a few laughs. Then everyone wanted to go on another roller coaster, so we decided to go on the Patriot again. This time I knew what was coming so I wasn’t as scared like last time. Just after that we had to leave Worlds of Fun. The crisp sound of the loud yell from the people on those rides were boisterous, even when we left the park. If I had a chance to go again, I would definitely take that
